As you might guess from the name ‘dry cleaning’, the main difference is that dry cleaning doesn’t use a lot of water. What you might not know is just how much water ‘steam’ cleaning, or hot water extraction cleaning, actually uses. 10 to 50 litres of water gets pumped into each room, and then sucked out again with a powerful vacuum. How much water actually gets sucked out varies depending on the system, and how much time the technician puts into doing a good job. Even if they are careful and dedicated, you’ll have a drying time of at least 4-6 hours before you can walk on your carpets again.
That’s the main difference with dry cleaning. Our system means we don’t pump litres of water into your carpet, which means it’s dry enough to walk on by the time we finish the job. This works because we prepare the carpet and treat stains with our special dry cleaning solutions, meaning dirt and stains are removed easily.
